Which is so NOT the case!

I need another craft like I need a hole in my head.

On a conference call this morning, I was quickly scanning through my daily check list of blogs for new posts.

Lots of good reasons this week:

Ed's Birthday

My Out-Laws coming for a visit.

All of my family coming over this weekend for a Birthday Party.

My big plans of making Valentine's with Peanut (we'll see if that shakes out).

I must give credit to Ken Rockwell. When I was leaning toward the Nikon D80, his website saved me a lot of money. I ended up going with the D40. Since I got my camera, I've been wanting a lense with more zoom. When I put a camera right in Peanut's face, he stops what he's doing. The further away I can be (yet still get close) the better.

In my Nikon class, I learned about VR. So, a new lense with VR became the want. I ended with my new 55-200 VR.

OH! I almost forgot - he (well, his site really) helped decide which external flash to get. What a difference in pics with and without it!

FINALLY! The blanket is done!

The blanket is done!
I have finished my first baby blanket made by a pattern! It took a little longer than I had planned AND the baby, Chloe, came early, so I'll need to get it there as soon as I can!

What I love about the blanket:

The pattern was created by my knitting instructor - Morgan Hicks (He's the best!)

The colors came together really well

It's soft

It's for Chloe, the first "second" baby in baby group

It was an easy pattern

It's done!
